Within the IGA/IFAD project, comparative analysis has been planned to scale up the success factors of the pro-poor projects invoving goats.
After the Brasilian, Turkish and Tadjik cases, we have implemented the Indian cases and study the case of the IMGOATS project. This project financed by IFAD, Euroopean Commission is led during 3 years by BAIF, an important Indian N.G.O. with scientific support of ILRI.
This project has two sites in Jarklhand and Rajasthan.
The mission focused on the Rajasthan case with a field visit and the participation in the National Advisory Committee in Udaipur, February, 11th 2012.. The IMGOATS project (IM for improving market and for Indian Mozambique) is implemented in India and in Mozambique with the same methodology
