Country Representative for Colombia
Venus holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Miami, a Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida and a specialization in Veterinary Clinical Laboratory from the Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales.
Venus returned to Popayán, Colombia in 2008 where she has worked as a teacher and researcher (emphasis in goat health) at the Veterinary School of the Universidad Antonio Nariño, in a clinical veterinary laboratory and the family farm where she has goats. She is currently part of the board of directors of the recently founded sheep and goat association of the Cauca department.
